SUMMARY :

It is located to the northeast of the city of Cusco, among the river Apurimac and the mountainous chain of Vilcabamba, where the snowy of Salkantay stands out with a height of 6 271 m.s.n.m. ITINERARY :

DAY 1:
CUSCO - CACHORA - CHIKISKA

Very early we will leave the city of Cusco bound for the town of Cachora whose journey will be of 4 hrs. in the town of Cachora we will know people that accompanied us in the whole journey, cooks, carriers, muleteers, after a breakfast and a small rest will begin our walk toward the first camp in Chikiska (2900 m.s.n.m.).

DAY 2:
CHIKISKA. PINK SAINT

After the breakfast this day we will begin the walk descending to the canyon of Apurimac, the recommendation for this day is to unload the weight of the backpack to avoid the fatigue and the fatigue for the excess of heat, we will eat lunch in the beach sector Rosalinas, after this rest we will ascend for a lapse of 2:30 hrs. until Santa Rosa's camp, place of he/she spends the night and it has dinner, in this camp we will enjoy a drunk typical "cambray."

DAY 3:
PINK SAINT. CHOQUEQUIRAO

DAY 4:
CHOQUEQUIRAO. CHIKISKA

In the morning we will visit the whole archaeological group as well as the place museum where they are observed some of the opposing pieces during the excavations, then we will undertake the return, lunch in Santa Rosa's area, camp place Chikiska.

DAY 5:
CHIKISKA. CACHORA. CUSCO

Early in the morning we will have breakfast it stops then to ascend to the first step and to go to the town of Cachora where you/they will be waiting for us with the transport to return to the city of Cusco, before approaching the bus we will eat lunch and we will thank all the people that accompanied us during the walk, for arrival to the city from Cusco to those 6:00 p.m.
