GOLD MUSEUM OF PERU:
The Incas used metalworking masterful. The method “cire perdue” (lost wax), known in the East and disappeared in the west until the Renaissance age, was worked by the most excellent Peruvian goldsmiths.
Our visit to the Gold Museum allows us to see an impressive collection of gold from pre-Columbian cultures, some more than 3,000 years old. The objects and jewelry worthing Gold Smith value are impressive exhibited. All designed in gold and silver and precious stones, ornaments and objects that Incas used in those days, children of the Sun God and monarchs of the vast Inca Empire.
The gold fame of Peru attracted a large number of European adventurers 500 years ago and was the reason for the end of the Inca Empire, giving rise to the viceroy of Peru, from the Crown of Spain.
Peru’s Gold Museum exhibits a valuable collection of old and modern weapons which are considered one of the best in the world. Armor, uniforms and objects from different times and places are displayed in their rooms, even some of the objects date back to 1300 BC this exhibition is known as the Arms Museum of the World.
FRIENDSHIP PARK:
Our excursion continues visiting the Friendship Park, with its impressive Moorish arch, was inaugurated by King Juan Carlos of Bourbon. Also check out a scenic train, beautiful gardens and green areas that celebrate the friendship between two peoples Peru and Spain.
